Getting into the mix…
Several years ago I made a choice to lead a healthier lifestyle upon receiving concerning news from a lifetime of drinking processed sugary beverages— which had contributed to my liver showing early signs of distress.
While searching I quickly began to realize there were not many, if any, ready-to-drink beverages that not only had less sugar but, were also free of chemicals and more natural.
Often when traveling, Rob, my fellow co-founder shared the same frustrating experiences while perusing the refrigerated section of local convenience stores.
Where were the healthy alternative selections for those looking for them?
With a lack of options, Rob and I took it upon ourselves to begin mixing things up by creating tasty, health-beneficial, ready-to-drink teas for our friends and families. We witnessed firsthand everyone’s true enjoyment of our recipes.
Now, after nearly a decade of brewing and experimenting with different types of loose leaf teas, we have discovered the astonishing cascara fruit. Cascara comes from the coffee cherry, which traditionally was discarded after the coffee bean had been harvested. However, cascara has proven to have an incredibly high ORAC value (antioxidant capacity).
With this new found knowledge, we began creating recipes with this special restorative fruit as a foundation, and adding additional natural flavors and ingredients. Countless hours and lots of taste tests later— several clear winners have emerged!
What we have have created is a truly energizing 100% pure cold brewed tea made with antioxidant-rich natural ingredients that tastes amazing!
