Teeth health is vitally important, as it can have a profound impact on your overall health, wellbeing, and self confidence. Some beverages can also stain your teeth, leaving you with an embarrassing smile, to the point the some heavy coffee drinkers avoid smiling, at least with their teeth showing!
ORAC Tea: Less Staining Than Coffee, Better for Your Teeth Than Soda
Our cold-brewed tea is different. By cold-brewing our tea, we reduce the amount of tannis in the beverage, which makes it less acidic. This can also make our tea less likely to stain your teeth. As explained by Lisa Fields of WebMD, tea can actually be worse for teeth stains than coffee, largely because of tannis. But by cold brewing, we are able to reduce this compound in our drinks.
Soda can also be destructive to our teeth, as it deteriorates teeth and leads to decay. This is why many dentist recommend drinking soda from a straw, as it reduces contact with the teeth.
While we certainly can’t call our beverages a drink for teeth health, we can say that they often result in less harm on your teeth than many other beverages. You may still experience staining, but you won’t notice as much compared to many other beverages.
