For children, the stats are even worse, as they consume 65 pounds a year!
But there are changes you can make. Healthline recommends taking a comprehensive approach to reducing your sugar intake, including eating full-fat foods, eating more protein, and using natural sweeteners. Another technique they recommend is to cut back on sugary drinks.
